At Arch Books, every order is packed with care and dispatched using a tracked or signed-for service. We never send orders by untracked post.
Every Arch Books order arrives in our signature packaging. For urgent deliveries, hand delivery, or any bespoke shipping requests, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to help.
Shipping Rates & Costs
Shipping costs are displayed at checkout before payment is taken, allowing you to review the full cost of your order before completing your purchase.
For customers in the UK, all unframed items listed on our website are delivered free of charge.
For international orders over £300, delivery is free to the regions listed below.

Shipping for framed items, oversized items, or particularly fragile works may be quoted separately. Any additional delivery cost will be made clear before your order is confirmed.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
All book orders are dispatched using a signed-for delivery service. Lower-value items, such as small print orders, may occasionally be sent using a tracked service where appropriate. In all cases, every order is sent with tracking or delivery confirmation - we do not use untracked postal services.
For international deliveries, we usually use DHL. Delivery by FedEx is also available on request. Please contact us before ordering if you would prefer us to use a specific courier or service.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing, courier delays, local holidays, or circumstances outside our control.
Dispatch & Processing
We aim to dispatch orders as promptly as possible. Orders are carefully packed to protect rare books, prints, framed works, and other collectible items in transit.
If you require delivery by a particular date, please contact us before placing your order so that we can confirm whether this is possible.
Shipping Restrictions
We deliver to the UK and internationally.
Please note that some courier services cannot deliver to PO box addresses. UPS and FedEx do not deliver to PO boxes. If you provide a PO box address and the selected courier cannot deliver to it, we may contact you to request an alternative delivery address.
Certain large, framed, fragile, or high-value items may require special handling or a bespoke delivery arrangement. If this applies to your order, we will contact you before dispatch.
International Shipping, Customs & Import Duties
International orders are usually shipped by DHL, although FedEx or another courier may be used by arrangement.
Customers outside the UK are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, local charges, brokerage fees, or other costs payable when the order arrives in the destination country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost unless expressly stated.
Customs policies vary by country, and delays may occur while parcels are being processed by local customs authorities.
Missing, Delayed or Lost Packages
All orders are sent using a tracked or signed-for service, so parcels can be monitored during transit.
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, please contact us with your order number and delivery details. We will check the tracking information and, where necessary, raise an enquiry with the courier.

If a parcel is confirmed as lost by the courier, we will work with you to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging before opening it. If the item inside has been damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the packaging and the item.
This helps us raise a claim with the courier and resolve the issue efficiently.

Bespoke Delivery Requests
If you have a special delivery request, including urgent delivery, hand delivery, a preferred courier, or additional packaging requirements, please contact us before placing your order.
We are happy to discuss suitable arrangements wherever possible.
